Looking into the Past

Preparing for this new site, I was doing a lot of looking through my archives… While they’re are mostly new images, I wanted to include my best shots from the past few years… While delving through my past shoots, I love to check out the outtakes, the shots that for some reason during the editing process get looked over.  However going back to them after some time brings back new life… Not sure why, I guess it’s looking at them without any bias of the actual shoot and what was trying to be accomplished… Sometimes they’re just a little off, like a weird expression or composition, or it’s a test shot to get the lighting dialed in, or it’s just not what you had in mind initially… Anyway, here’s a few outtakes that I thought were kind of cool…

And here’s one that was on my old website that got a little fixin and will probably end up in the new site… Haven’t decided yet for some reason.

So let me know what ya’ll think… Should I include any of these into the main site or should they just be filed away in the archives for my own amusement?

Sam, Your new website is awesome and I am impressed with your photography. The young man who designed this for you is also awesome and I am always excited to see more of his wonderful work.I was pleased to see that good looking blonde guy holding the bat in your old website collection. I hope you keep that picture on your new website. He is on my list of special young men also!
