Jason Patz Portraits

Been a little while obviously between postings here… Been busy and have several shoots to post soon… I have one ready now, which was a portfolio shoot of sorts of my friend Jason Patz… I’ve shot Jason many times and I think i’ve done the best photo of him so far and one of my favorite shots to date!  Without further ado, check it out-

I think this is the feel that I want my work to travel in the near future… Here’s a couple more from the shoot -

Hi Sam this is Danett from changs…or use to be. Any way I was surfing the web and some how ended up on your site, then some how ended up reading most of your blogs.(Lazy day off, had nothing to do) Your art is beautiful, and I really enjoyed looking through your pictures. But as I read through your blogs I noticed a theme; you seem to be getting bored with the typical portrait picture taking. In the end I started wondering if what you have been trying to capture is life in the moment, no digital enhancing, just the “NOW.” And that thought sparked an idea. I want to invite you to my ballet class.(Dont worry I wont ask you to dance.) When I think of my self and the girls I dance with I realize how in the moment we are when we are in Mrs. Louannes humble basement studio, working our bodies to the ground for what we love. The world out side that place does not exsist for us at that moment just the strive for great technique and grace. Any way it was just a thought. You probably dont want to take pictures of a bunch of girls in leatards and point shoes:) Let me know what you think.
