Denver Slim aka Daddy Long Legs aka Caballo

So someone actually answered one of my last posts about the searching for models, which is an ongoing search that will never be quenched by the way… And that person was Luke McAlpine, a fine young lad that you’ll be seeing more of in the Denver creative scene very soon.  He is a marketing major soon to graduate and an up and coming artist, whether he thinks so or not.  

We started in the studio and then went downtown for some more… We wandered around, shooting here and there with natural light, my favorite type of shoot.  Then ended with a shot that I’ve envisioned many times as I walked past a certain downtown coffee shop.  Many thanks to luke for a great shoot! Sometimes I can’t think of a good title for a post, thus the boring date title.  Just a little update… 

I reworked one of the portraits of amanda, just a little change to reflect the mood-

Also shot a few more people for the PFC portraits, which I haven’t retouched yet, I’ll post those soon.  However I shot a couple quick portraits of one of the managers, Laurence… He’s quite a character, check it out-

Snapshot

I took a little iphone snapshot of what I stare at most days, this one included-

You guessed it… the computer.  I added a couple new photos to the portrait section of the website as well as deleted a couple.  It’s always a work in progress.  

Business is slow… I should not be…

I have some ideas for shoots but need some great subjects to be in them! So if anybody out there but me reads this blog and would like to have your likeness forever captured in pixels, drop me a line.  Otherwise I’ll have to resort to the old standard of annoyingly asking until you acquiesce , and I know you don’t want that!
