Looking into the Past

Saturday, November 15th, 2008

Preparing for this new site, I was doing a lot of looking through my archives… While they’re are mostly new images, I wanted to include my best shots from the past few years… While delving through my past shoots, I love to check out the outtakes, the shots that for some reason during the editing process get looked over.  However going back to them after some time brings back new life… Not sure why, I guess it’s looking at them without any bias of the actual shoot and what was trying to be accomplished… Sometimes they’re just a little off, like a weird expression or composition, or it’s a test shot to get the lighting dialed in, or it’s just not what you had in mind initially… Anyway, here’s a few outtakes that I thought were kind of cool…

And here’s one that was on my old website that got a little fixin and will probably end up in the new site… Haven’t decided yet for some reason.

So let me know what ya’ll think… Should I include any of these into the main site or should they just be filed away in the archives for my own amusement?

Finally, A New Site!!!!!

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

While I loved the old site, it’s just that it was old, ya know?  I wasn’t able to update it myself and the images were too small… So out with the old and in with the Awesome!  The site was built by Terris Kremer of Qmula Designs, if anyone needs a great custom website, he is your man!!!! The best part is that I can update the photos and rearrange them to my hearts content!  I have a dashboard thing that I can basically drag and drop to change things and write and manage blog posts at the same time, it’s amazing!  Anyway, thanks for checking it all out and let me know how you feel about everything, good or bad!  Please!
