My friend Shawn is off to the city of angels in search of fame and fortune. Just kidding, he’s actually in search of creative fulfillment and a chance to express himself… In other words he’s an actor and is hoping to work and live in sunny soCal… We got together to shoot some headshots and promo portraits here in Denver before he hit the road… So be on the lookout for this talented face at a theater near you soon!
Check it-

I’ve shot my good friend jeremy a few times now, and I think I made my favorite portrait of him yet… It seems like if you want to be my friend it comes with consequences, the biggest of which is getting a camera stuck in your face on multiple occasions… Let that be a warning to all the camera shy people out there that somehow end up being mixed up with the likes of me! anyway, check it…

And now my favorite!

I finally got the chance to show the world my portrait of Jenny… It may have a somber feel but I assure you it’s not a sad moment, just a lucky moment between moments when thoughts overcome consciousness. One of my favorite images of late… check it…

Here’s another one of Jenny, or rather of Jenny’s thumb… She had a little accident and cut it pretty bad… check it in all it’s frankensteinish glory…

It’s obviously been way too long since my last post… Things were pretty quiet on the TrojanPhoto front over the holidays and first part of the year… But all things must come to an end and there’s been some interesting shoots as of late, so let’s begin with the first of many posts to come… Soooo here’s some recent headshots, shot here in beautiful Denver, CO…
First up is Kasha Fauscett who is a screen actor here in Denver,

This one is Barb Reeves who can be seen at Boulder’s Dinner Theatre,

Next is the Janelle Christie, who recently relocated to Portland, Oregon to pursue her acting career,

Next is Michael Chimento, who actually teaches photography at a high school in Aurora, CO, I was a little nervous photographing a fellow photog, but he was very easy going and I think we got many great shots…

Next is Todd Debrecini, who I photographed just a couple weeks ago… He is a special effects makeup artist for stage and screen and needed some portraits to promote himself and his recently published book about fx makeup! A great guy I hope to work with again soon!

And lastly is Janie Smothers, who recently moved to LA to continue her acting career…

The world has lost a friend recently…

My buddy Andy Klotzle passed on unexpectedly, leaving a big void in many people’s hearts… My thoughts go out to his family and I wish them only happy memories of a great person… Andy was a musician and aspiring photographer and I’m deeply saddened that I won’t be able to see him grow in the things that made him happy…
If anyone is interested, the family, in lieu of flowers, wants to donate money to a great organization here in Denver that provides advocacy and education in the arts to young people… The organization is Think360Arts… Their website is www.think360arts.org . You can contact me for more information… Here’s a link to his obituary as well… http://www.brooksidechapelfh.com/obituaries/obituaries.cfm
I wish you all happiness in your lives.

Last month I took a trip to Moab to visit Arches Nat’l Park and Canyonlands Nat’l Park… I went with my father and a couple of his buddies… Needless to say it was beautiful… I’ve set up a site of photos that I took along the way… By no means am I a landscape photographer, but I think there’s some cool shots in there… Check out www.moab.trojanphoto.com
